Fortunately, Michael Gorra’s generous and lengthy assessment of the new Liebling volumes from the Library of America provides an occasion for me to reconsider. It’s in The Smart Set, courtesy of Drexel University, and it’s well worth a look. One reason I like The Smart Set is that their visual aesthetic is a bit like ours!
